Events of the Essence, LLC
Terms & Conditions
These terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the services provided by Events of the Essence, LLC ("Company," "we", or "our") to the client ("Client", "you", or "your"). By booking services or submitting payment you agree to be bound by the following:
1. Services
- The Company will provide event planning, coordination, design, catering coordination, rentals or related services as outlined in the client's signed proposal or invoice.
- Any changes to services must be approved in writing. Additional fees may apply.
2. Payments
- A non-refundable retainer (amount specified on invoice) is required to secure services and event date.
- Remaining balances are due 2 weeks prior to the event or as outlined in the invoice/contract. Services will not be rendered with out full payment.
- Payments made via credit/debit card may be subject to processing fees. By providing card information, you authorize the Events of the Essence, LLC to charge for agreed services and fees.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- All retainers are NON- REFUNDABLE.
- Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event may receive partial refund of payments made, less the retainer and any cost incurred.
- Cancellations made within 60 days of the event are non-refundable.
- Postponements will be accommodated based on availability and may incur rescheduling fees.
4. Client Responsibilities
- The client must provide accurate event details, timelines, guest counts and venue information in a timely manner.
- The Client is responsible for obtaining necessary permits, licenses and insurance (if required by the venue).
- The client assumes responsibility for the conduct of all guest, vendors and participants a the event.
- To ensure the safety of Events of the Essence at all times if there are safety concerns we have the right to end our services immediately, with no refunds and/or rescheduling of dates.
5. Company Responsibilities
- Events of the Essence agrees to perform services in a professional manner and make reason efforts to fulfill the agreed scope of work.
- Events of the Essence is not responsible for circumstances beyond it's control(e.g. weather, venue restrictions, vendor failures, strikes, pandemics, or acts of GOD).
5. Food & Catering (if applicable)
- Final guest count is due no later than 20 days before the event. Increases after this date may not be accommodated.
- Client acknowledges responsibility for informing the Cater/Events of the Essence of all allegeries or dietary restrictions. While reasonable efforts will be made, Events of the Essence cannot guarantee an allergen free environment.
6. Limitation of Liability
- Events of the Essence liability is limited to the total amount paid by the Client for services.
- Events of the Essence shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
7. Photo & Media Release
- Unless otherwise requested in writing, the Client grants Events of the Essence permission to photograph or record the event for marketing and portfolio purposes.
8. Governing Law
- This Agreement shall be governed by and constructed under the laws of the state in which the event occurs.
9. Acceptance
- By booking service, submitting payment, or signing an invoice/contract, the Client acknowledged they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
